In the district of Barhöft, 3 km away, there is a small harbour from where you can go on guided fishing trips or launch your own boats. The harbour is also used by fishermen who sell the fish they catch on site. As the local Bodden region is one of the largest resting places for migratory birds in Europe, the conditions here are ideal for birdwatching.
