This tastefully and individually furnished maisonette apartment for up to six people is located on the upper floor of a residential building in the centre of the village, yet in a quiet side street. A restaurant, a butcher and the well-known ice cream parlour are just a few steps away, as is a supermarket with a bakery approx. 600 m from the castle and approx. 650 m from the castle grounds (approx. 10 minutes' walk). Beautiful bathing opportunities can be found approx. 9 km away at Lake Tollensesee.
The approx. 110 m² non-smoking flat, renovated in 2022 and centrally heated, has a separate entrance via an external staircase and is accessible via the fenced inner courtyard. On the first level, it has a large living room (couch, armchair, flat-screen TV), a bedroom (double bed 1.40 m), a bed that can be pulled out for 2 people, flat-screen TV with streaming, a complete kitchen (electric hob with oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, various small kitchen appliances, dining table, flat-screen TV) and a bathroom (corner bath, WC, hairdryer, washing machine). A further bedroom (double box-spring bed), a second bathroom (shower, WC) and the approx. 30 m² furnished roof terrace can be reached via a relatively steep staircase. From here, another staircase leads to the attic, which is furnished with sleeping mattresses and can be used for sleeping or playing. Free WLAN, bicycle storage, barbecue, travel cot and high chair are also available. There is a public car park nearby (approx. 300 m) and you can stop right in front of the house to load and unload.

The castle of the same name, the town's most famous landmark, is the northernmost hilltop castle in Germany. In addition to a marvellous view from the tower, the medieval castle complex with its museum, castle park, herb garden, many events and the annual castle festival offers many opportunities for excursions. We also recommend walks through the historic old town along the mill pond, a visit to the Marie Hager House with its changing exhibitions or the town church, as well as a trip to the famous Pinguin ice cream parlour, which has been popular with locals and guests for more than 60 years. A summer toboggan run and two riding stables also offer fun for young and old. Burg Stargard has two supermarkets and several catering establishments as well as a railway station with hourly train connections to Berlin.
