Our house is located a quick five minute drive up the mountain in the historic nucleo of Piodina. The home is on three floors, main bedroom on the top floor, bathroom and kitchen in the middle floor and lounge with sofa bed on the bottom floor. We have a beautiful terrace for outside dining and a balcony to take in the breathtaking views and relax. The neighborhood is quiet with winding pathways typical of an historical Ticinese nucleo.
The house was built in the 1800s by my great grandparents. It then belonged to my grandmother before it was passed down to us and in which we lived while our children were small. It was remodeled and restored recently to make a more modern look but with keeping the typical and unique features of Ticino architecture.
