Positive: The responsiveness of our host was exceptional! We got all the answers from him by email in a matter of minutes. You must contact him, and he will also clarify the annoying automated offers to upgrade your apartment. The cleanliness was high level (except for the smell), and we got basic supplies of coffee and sugar available. The kitchen was quite well-equipped; we didn't miss a thing. The location is okay: It is a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of the old town and quite a walk from the university. Furniture is not new, but it does a good job.

Negative: Well, the smell. You can tell that something is off, but there is no obvious reason for it; the apartment is properly clean. If you have a sensitive nose, avoid it! If you come by car, you should also just don't! Lausanne is not for cars.
