Summary: This was my 3rd time staying at this property and unfortunately will be my last. This used to be a nice hotel that served a delicious breakfast, but this past stay was terrible. We had 2 rooms booked, and both rooms were dirty. Black mold in the showers, cobwebs and dust bunnies in corners. Every time we passed the front desk there was always a sign someone would be right back. A couple times we waited for a few mins to hopefully speak with someone but no luck. Our first morning we were heading down for breakfast, only for another guest to tell us they no longer serve it. I was traveling with my elderly mom and 3 year old niece, so no breakfast meant i had to find an alternate place and spend more money than i would have for the hotel breakfast. That was a major inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel. There is a Best Western down the street which will be my new go to hotel for my future Trier visits.

Summary: The hotel is very central, within walking distance from Trier's main attractions. The room was nice, not super clean but good enough to stay the night. Fair quality for the price

Summary: The rooms were very small and spare, the bed very firm, the tv VERY small, the room had no insulation from noise, and the shower was covered in black mold. The location wasn’t great due to the traffic noise and the surrounding area was very worn. Also am FYI: You’re not able to leave your pets in the hotel while you’re out and about, although I triple-checked the website and reservation information and there was nothing saying so. We ended up leaving a night early. Trier has some pretty spectacular sites, but this definitely dulled the experience.

Summary: The hotel is great value for money. Some of the rooms appear to be undergoing renovation at the moment. My room overlooked the river, with a nice view of the old Roman bridge.
It's a short but interesting walk to the hauptmarkt, Karl Marx's birthplace and museum, Trier Dom, Porta Nigra, and other sights. I'd happily stay here again.
