Summary: The room and the hotel were satisfactory. The only potential issue is that there is no staff at reception upon your arrival, and you must check in on your cellphone. Alternatively, you can call someone at their number, and they will check you in. Everything is online, hence it is a point to consider if you are not comfortable with online management of your booking. Sachseln is a beautiful place and Hotel Kreuz is within walking distance from the train station.
