Our approx. 5,000 square metre park-like estate is located in the green heart of Germany - the Thuringian Forest.
Friedrichroda is a climatic health resort, which has a healthy climate due to its location in the north-west.
The modern "VILLA SEEBACH" in Art Nouveau style is situated on a hillside surrounded by woods.
It is quietly situated in a side street with little traffic in a residential area of Friedrichroda.
Furthermore, this dreamlike accommodation is located on the ground floor of a 3-generation house in which the landlord lives.
The town centre is approx. 400 m away and the nearest public transport (Waldbahn, train and bus) is approx. 5-15 min. away on foot. In the village there are all shopping facilities such as supermarkets, clothes shops, hospital, doctors' surgeries, pharmacies, children's playgrounds, outdoor swimming pool, sports field, tennis court, restaurants, cafés and much more.
Our holiday flat offers 60 square metres of living space:
- Cosy, comfortable living area with large pull-out L-shaped corner sofa, which can be made up as a comfortable bed for 2 people (digital satellite TV / large LCD flat-screen HD TV, hi-fi stereo system with CD + cassette, large pull-out dining table with 4 chairs) / balcony door and access to the covered outdoor terrace / garden
- Bedroom with large double bed for 2 people (large LCD flat-screen HD TV, spacious wardrobe with high mirror and a small round table with 2 chairs) / baby cot and cot available as extra beds / 2 windows
- Bright bathroom with bathtub and foldable shower attachment + WC (washing machine, wall-mounted dryer, hairdryer, etc.) / 1 window
- fully equipped kitchen with dining table for approx. 4 people (fridge and freezer, microwave, mini oven for bread rolls, kettle, coffee machine, 4-fold toaster, cooker with ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher, etc.) / 1 window

Our outdoor area offers:
- 2 terraces and approx. 5,000 square metres of garden
- 1st terrace: spacious covered terrace with seating for 6 people (accessible via the living room)
- 2nd terrace: large covered feel-good and barbecue terrace with small fountain (centre of the garden)
- Lawn with garden furniture and parasol, charcoal and gas barbecue, fire bowl and firewood for cosy hours, electricity connection, large tree swing
- The garden is completely fenced
- In summer we offer the use of our pool for swimming or simply to cool off for a small usage fee / outdoor pool (L) 6.10 m x (W) 3.75 m x (H) 1.25 m
- Your stay also offers 2 private parking spaces in the courtyard / another parking space is possible directly in front of our house
Our modern holiday flat was completely modernised in July 2022!

Our faithful golden retriever, who can be seen in some of the garden pictures, unfortunately crossed the Rainbow Bridge in mid-January 2023 and can no longer be petted in our garden.
In consideration of allergy sufferers, we would like to ask for your understanding that pets cannot be accommodated in the apartment. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
