Alternatively, you can stroll to the nearby Selker Noor – a tranquil side arm of the Schlei, perfect for stand-up paddleboarding.

There's a golf course, horseback riding, and a sailing school in the summer, all within easy reach. The Schlei fjord and the tranquil Selker Noor lake are perfect for stand-up paddleboarding. Children will love the nearby Tolkschau amusement park and the Haithabu open-air museum with its Viking museum. Excellent shopping is available in Schleswig (10 minutes by car). Stylish Eckernförde, with its charming shops and restaurants, is a convenient 20-minute drive away, Flensburg and the Baltic Sea are 30 minutes away, and Hamburg can be reached in about an hour.
