This hotel is located in Uslar, surrounded by the charming landscape of the Weserbergland region. Occupying an impressive timber-framed building, the hotel lies on a pedestrianised area within the town centre, directly opposite the town hall. Following extensive renovation and extension work some 10 years ago, it offers a modern spa area overlooking an attractive park with a romantic pond. Within the main hotel building you find 12 modern single and double rooms. Renovated in 2005, they are equipped with TV, a large desk, a fridge, a hairdryer and a magnifying mirror. The spa with pool and sauna can be accessed directly from here via a bridge. A special feature of the hotel are our 7 fairytale rooms, each of which features its own theme from the stories of the Grimm brothers. These spacious rooms include large bathrooms, some of which feature separate bath and shower. Amenities include fridge, large desk, living area, TV, hairdryer and magnifying mirror. All of our fairytale rooms are non-smoking. Within our "Mauerschlösschen", which offers a direct view of the attractive park with small pond, you find 14 spacious and individually furnished double rooms, junior suites and suites. Each morning we serve a sumptuous breakfast buffet in the conservatory. For lunch, dinner, for parties and for cosy get-togethers we offer a variety of restaurants and function rooms. The Menzhausen Restaurant is an elegant restaurant offering exquisite menus for gourmets. The Menzhausen Stube is a popular meeting place for locals and offers regional dishes. Our conservatory with open fire place and view of the romantic garden is ideal for banquets of up to 30 persons. The quiet club room can be used for private events and small festivities, while the rustic "Alte Schmiede" ("old blacksmith’s") features a romantic courtyard garden with a barbecue area.
