The house was built in 1953 as a solid single-family house on a plot of land measuring just under 1200 square meters and was redesigned and completely renovated from autumn 2015 to March 2017.
The result is two comfortable apartments, a spacious courtyard and a large, natural garden. Out of consideration for other holiday guests, pets and smoking are not allowed in the apartments. Haus Sauer is located on the outskirts. The Rheinhessen cultural landscape with its extensive arable land and vineyards awaits you on the doorstep. The nearby forest, wonderful wines and our sunny and low-precipitation region are worth discovering.
The A61 and A63 motorway connections are around 7 km away, as is the district town of Alzey. After 11 km you reach the "Little Residence" Kirchheimbolanden, the popular Donnersberg after approx. 17 km, the spa town Bad Kreuznach after approx. 25 km, the state capital and Gutenberg city of Mainz and the Nibelungen city of Worms after approx. 36 km.
Here in Rheinhessische Schweiz you will find small, fine sights, an open and varied landscape and many festivals related to wine. Especially in autumn, when the vineyards and forest show their colorful leaves.
By the way: A good drop from the winegrower, whether wine, sparkling wine or grape juice, is only a few steps away from the Haus Sauer.
