The hilly area close to the Schiener Berg (Schiener mountain) and the Klingenbachschlucht (a ravine) is perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities, such as hiking or cycling, and there are many routes starting basically at your front door. The charming lakeside town of Radolfzell is located a 20-minute drive (15 km) away, the World Heritage Site Reichenau Island is a 45-minute drive (42 km) from Öhningen, and you can drive to Konstanz, famous for its picturesque old town centre, in 40 minutes (38 km).
