Car no. 1 (for 2 people) is equipped with a double bed (1.80m x 2m) and a built-in wardrobe. Our smaller is the ideal car for singles or couples. On the left just after the door is a cupboard that has room for some wardrobe parts and a small mirror. To the right of the entrance are a radio with alarm function, lamps and a wall board for frequently needed items, as well as 220V sockets. The double bed is on the back. Large pieces of luggage can be stowed under it. An extra bed for a child is available.
Our wooden cars (8 m² and 13 m²) were built according to the principle of a small wooden house. They are all in the garden surrounded by hedges and shrubs. We have several seating areas on the premises for you. Toilet and washing facilities (shower) can be found a few steps away in the main building. In Kirchen-Hausen (about 1,100 inhabitants) there is an inn. Shops and many restaurants you have in Geisingen 3 km away. The A81 Singen-Stuttgart motorway can be reached in about 4 minutes. Kirchen-Hausen has a Ringzug connection; on request, we can also pick you up from the platform. The presence of an old vehicle axle gave us the idea to build a wooden cart with it. The basis is a metal frame with a semicircular tin roof. After installing the windows and the power supply (lights and sockets), we worked only with wood for the rest of the car body. The walls have an interior and exterior trim. In the spring of 2009, we decided to make this extraordinary accommodation accessible to all and to offer overnight accommodation in our wooden carts. Directly in front of our plant flows the Aitrach: a small river that flows a few hundred meters further into the Danube. Our facility therefore got its name "Wagenpark zur Donau.
Arrivals are possible from 15:00 to 19:00 and departures from 07:00 to 10:00.
